This question is only partly related to Linux. I am starting to get annoyed by the quantity of spam I am receiving and decided to implement an RBL lookup under postfix on our firewall (Debian Potato). At the moment the only RBL list I have found is mail-abuse.org. However, it appears they are now charging for their service. I have spend a while looking on Google without much luck. Several services mentioned on Google seem no longer to exist. I guess my questions are : 1. Do other Sluggers think using RBL type spam blocking works and as a matter of principle is it a good or bad thing? 2. Are other people using RBL type lookups to block spam under linux? 3. If so, what tools do you use, and 4. What sites do you you use to determine whether the mail is from a spammer. regards Steven -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
