Is CCNA worth doing these days ?

I hear it's hard and expensive (?).

I did a google on "+ccna +sydney site:.au" and turned up some broken
links and seemingly dodgy sites. Is there an authoritative CCNA site ?
Even a FAQ for Australian residents or something.
