Title: Iptables: redirection

Hello there,

I have a cable connection and install 2 comp, 1 as a firewall with proxy server and 1 comp as a local DNS and apache installed and a few clients. I got a iptables script from gShield (http://muse.linuxmafia.org/gshield.html)

In the conf file (gShield.conf) it ask me whether or not I want to redirect connection request from 'the world' and redirect it to my apache box. I say yes to that option. But still, whenever I type my ip from the cable modem, it says "The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again"

Why I choosed gShield: because is more readable than any other firewall script… :)
My question is:
- What is the propper iptables rule to redirect connection? I'm planning to type that rule manually (or just put it in a file)

- Do I have to put a special rule in the apache box to get the request from my firewall?
Everything works fine, the clients can open web, using internet like normally and I can block bad-address, etc.

Best Regards,

Phillipus.
