If you use xscreensaver, set the resource:

    xscreensaver.passwd.heading.label

to the hostname. The default is "XScreenSaver x.xx" (x.xx is the
version number).

There are a few other resources you can use to control the dialog
labels:

    passwd.heading.label
    passwd.body.label
    passwd.user.label
    passwd.passwd.label
    dateFormat

This info is from xscreensaver 3.22 source.
