PHP is a server-side scripting language, whilst SWB is pretty much an editor. If you're looking for an editor for Linux, try out Quanta or Bluefish - there are many others listed on Freshment. If you need to get PHP itself going on Win2K, there is a version available for it, I'm sure there are installation docs on the PHP website (http://php.net/). I'd strongly recommend that you understand HTML authoring, and then definitely understand how to write software before using PHP (especially if it will be used for something more important than a personal web page or toy). > PS: If you no anybody that has a copy of redhat 7.2 let me know. I'll have two CD's at the meeting this Friday, bring along a notebook and copy them if you'd like. I'll probably give them away towards the end of my talk if I'm feeling warm and fuzzy. - Jeff -- "Spam is about consent, not content." - Craig Sanders -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
