Sluggers, How can I find out which /dev/??? file maps to which physical scsi device in linux? In other *nixen the channel and scsi id determine the device name eg /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0, but in Linux it seems to allocate them based on order or something? (insert clue stick here)
I've got a Scsi based system with a worm drive in it. It lists in /proc/scsi/scsi as channel 0 id 4 lun 0. The only other scsi device is the primary disk channel 0 id 0 lun 0. It's addressable as /dev/sda, what will the worm drive be? (I now it works cause it was used about six months back by someone).
