I would like to thank the speakers at this months meeting. To summarise:

We had a report of a Linux install in a school. Now for those not in
the know there are some 'issues' with getting a school over, they get
delivered free M$ software because of a contract by the Dept of
Education and also some issues around that license. There is an implied
threat of action against non-M$ installs. So this is a major win!

We had a great talk on floating point. If you are a programmer and a
heavy user of floating point you might want to know about lrint. There
was to be a web page put up, did not write it down.

Finally a discussion on LDAP. This went on for a while and produced
some real discussion. Again we have a promise of the slides, real
soon now (when XP is stable?) This was a wetting of the appetite for
more and better LDAP from a jdub initiative. Watch this space was the
promise at the end.

I thought the meeting was great this month, thanks to one and all....

KenF
