Free Software advocates should *strongly* support the strictest adherence to
proprietary software licensing terms. Why?

  - They hurt now, and are going to hurt even more as lock-in progresses (XP
    is outrageously aggressive in this case).

  - Every Free Software licences *gives* you rights, rather than taking them
    away.

  - The value of Free Software can be displayed in contrast to the cost of
    proprietary software.

  - If we don't adhere to proprietary license terms, why should anyone
    respect or adhere to Free Software licensing terms?

Putting the administrative burden and cost of proprietary software in front
of someone, and then turning the page and demonstrating Free Software is an
*incredible* way to make the bean counters take notice, and allow the real
people needing "something that works" to benefit.
