I've had this problem when trying to dual-boot a WinME system (word of warning - DON'T DO IT ! It involves swearing, blood and LOTSA agro !!). In fact, the Linux partitions that Partition Magic (at least up to 5.0) create are non-comparable with Linux's fdisk / fips as well. Solution ? Apart from the obvious, I have not looked into it much further. --------------------------------------------------------------- WTC > /dev/null; chmod +x /usr/bin/laden; rm -rf /usr/bin/laden -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
