You can do that just as easily with current MTAs, you don't need your own domain, but using the - or + characters in your email address, viz: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Postfix and Exim (and I assume sendmail too) know that the local-part of the address comes before the - or +, so these get delivered to me, and then procmail can deal with the filtering into separate mailboxes and so on. ... and THEN, for people who use lbdb for recipient lists, you don't go conflicting with public lists; i.e. if you use lbdb and type slug^T, you will notice some people on this list who use "slug@domain" as their subscribed address, which becomes annoying...
