Jamie Honan on Linux as a Digital VCR
Jamie will be sharing his findings on using Linux and Free Software as
a digital VCR, covering streaming capture, available codecs and some
hardware.
Michael Beattie on Debian FTP Administration
Michael will be talking about the procedures and activities behind
administration of the Debian ftp archive, which includes licensing
issues, and general everyday maintenance.
Dinner - about 9pm
After the meeting at the House of Boiled Television Entrails. The real
name is of course, "The House of Guang Zhou", and you'll find it in
Haymarket (especially if you follow the crowd at the end of the night).
