Yes!!!! Thanks Alen, I didn't have that on my system but a quick apt-get
got it. Now I have to still work out why that will work but normal lpr
wont' It's certainly something to do with access permissions.

Thanks Ken too. I will setup my hosts files like you have and see what 
happens there.

I will leave you all with a funny from a google translation.
I entered "Your host does not have line printer access" and hit `translate'
from German for the 1st hit.
