I have seemingly been successful twice in installing Red Hat 7.1 but get a login error (authentication failed) at the point of access - after bootup has proceeded OK. The program does not seem to want to acknowledge the user names that have been set up. The first try was as a partitionless install and the second as a dedicated Linux extended partition working as a logical partition off of Fat 32 with Windows XP as the first installed O/S, the latter of which has been unaffected by all of this. Any ideas as to what might be going wrong? Regards, Antony Parzakonis.
