On Fri 28 Dec, richard made the following spurious claims: > Anyone had a whack at the music exchange site www.audiogalaxy.com yet? > Sort of a napster like site with blocks on copywrit stuff. Anyone tried this site yet?
Yep been using it for a long time. They block copyrighted music at the request of the artist. This means if you're into mainstream music you'll be disappointed these days. If you're into more obscure stuff, there's still stacks available. It works just fine on x86 for me. account.txt (in the same directory as the executable) has to be two lines. The first is the email address you registered with and the second your password. This is different from the username you use on the web site! Also you need a shares.txt with a full path to your share directory or directories, eg: /home/simon/mp3 Then you just run it with ./AGSatellite Also worth checking out http://agqt.sourceforge.net/ which lets you download whole albums.
