I used to be able to dial-up a ppp connection as my user but now can
only start ppp as root.

I've read through the HOW-TO and also, it *used* to work :-(

As far as I can see the permissions are right but the system tells me
not.  It's telling me that pppd is not setuid but it is.

I am using pon/poff with pppconfig.

Can anyone give a pointer as to what else to check?
