Thought I'd have a play with this. It's supposed to be similar to Visual BASIC but the copy I installed with my distribution (SuSE 7.1) starts and then disappears without trace - no log nothing. I downloaded the newer version and compiled and installed the unixODBC as required but the new version of Phoenix will not upgrade the older one (or install either) failing with the unmet dependencies of libodbc.so.1 and libmng.so.1 The problem is that both of these libraries are installed. Any ideas anyone?
