Thanks John, I managed to get the chain working by adding the following lines in squid.conf:
never_direct allow subnetA
never_direct allow subnetB
Lastly I can't seem to get $ENV{X_FORWARDED_FOR} working even though
forwarded_for is set to 'on'. Does anyone know if there is something else I
need to modify in squid.conf?
