For anyone who's interested in that sort of thing, I've written an LDAP backend for debconf. This means that you can store debconf data somewhere other than the usual file. Very useful for clusters or anywhere a lot of machines need similar configs and you want to do it all automatically.
To get it, put the following in your sources.list: deb http://ieee.uow.edu.au/~mjp16/debian mjp16 main and then update and install. The package name is debconf-ldap. Please read the readme before use, and let me know your experiences. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- #include <disclaimer.h> Matthew Palmer [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
