Hi Vishal,

I think you were the one that asked me about lexmark printers at the
SLUG meeting. 
I have attached the notes I made when I was installing the lexmark
drivers for my Lexmark on a SUSE machine a few months ago. That should
help you out a fair bit.

Basically you need to download from Lexmark the drivers. 
        drivers-linux-glibc2-x86.rpm.tar.gz 
This contained two files:
        lexmark-MVfonts-4.6-1.i386.rpm
        lexmark-MVprint-4.6-1.i386.rpm
They are rpms so will install on SUSE with no probs.

from the KDE Menu.  If this script is ran as ROOT, then
the Snap-In will be installed/removed System Wide, othewise,
it will be installed/removed to/from the personal KDE menu.

Installation Complete!  You must restart KDE
for the changes to take effect.

This Script installs or removes Lexmark Applications
from the KDE2 Menu.  If this script is ran as ROOT, then

it will be installed/removed to/from the personal KDE2 menu.

This installation procedure installs the fonts for a UNIX X11
system.  The fonts can be installed for use with a font server, 
in the normal system fonts directory, or as an additional font
directory.

How should the fonts be installed?
A ) For use with a font server.
B ) As a standard system font.
C ) As an additional font directory.
Or <return> to quit.

Choice:

Enter the directory which contains the font server's
configuration file: [/usr/lib/X11/fs]

save the /usr/lib/X11/fs/config
file as /usr/lib/X11/fs/config.mvfont.
