For documentation you have a couple of options;
- buy a book from a bookstore (running linux is good)
- view the material at linuxdoc.org
For a copy to use (not merely evaluate):
- some books come with copies (I believe ``Running Linux'' does)
- you can purchase boxed set from bookstores and places
online (www.dymocks.com.au, www.everythinglinux.com.au)
- you can download copies, for free, on the Internet
It has been quite some time since I've looked at introductory books,
perhaps others can comment if they thought any were good.
