GPG signatures are very easy to read. I'm not signing mine, so this probably isn't my opinion. In fact, it could be anyone's. GnuPG signatures are an easy way to make sure that mails really are sent by who you think they are. I sign all my messages (this one being the exception) as a matter of habit. Oh, and WRT HTML email - don't. It's bad practice everywhere but JavaScript lists.
