Hey sluggers, just a quick question about drives with bad sectors etc.. whilst going through so old junk found a drive that appears to have 98 on it and a whole heap of bad sectors but it also looks like it might have some useful info on it.
Will linux handle the bad sectors and possible retrival of the info any better that dos/windows?? I assume it would come down to how it accesses the disk or whatever but that's not an area I'm that well versed in. Any suggestions/pointers/URLS etc..
