Hallo,
I'm after some mailing list software (e.g. Mailman, Listar,
Majordomo) that needs to work with the following constraints[1]:
* Must not require root priviledges
* Must not require it being put in /etc/aliases or something
similar: i.e. must be able to be run from a .procmailrc or
so
* Would be nice if it can run more than one mailing list,
e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED]
So far, everything I've tried expects that I dump it into the
/etc/aliases file (or whatever the equivalent is) :(. Even the
specific non-root ones like minordomo etc don't really do what I
want.
The reason I'm asking is because I want to run a mailing list for
a domain that I have, which is hosted on a shared server (and
therefore handles lots more domains than mine). I don't have
root priviledges on the box, so it must not need root
priviledges. I'm thinking that this is a common enough situation
that somebody out there will know something, and I just haven't
searched hard enough ...
Thanks lots :)
1. That's _such_ a computer-sciency word
