Yes, they are still using very sane, plain old PAP logins.  If it makes a 
difference, the calls terminate on Ascend (Lucent) TNT's.

Disclaimer - I worked for OzEmail directly once, have since moved up in the 
world.  Linux is not supported since even your average call centre churn 
makes training costs prohibitive.  I have also never used Linux to initiate 
a dialup to OzEmail, although that may happen soon enough.
