Are you using the default Redhat kernel ?
I was having lots of freezes/crashes until I upgraded the kernel and now it has been running for 4 weeks without a problem. I was pretty sure it was not the machine (P90) since it had been running RedHat 5.2 since it was released and had general uptimes of approximately 200+ days.
