ok got the DoV thing working. You're right Crossfire it's a right pain
in the arse. I'm not running any compression on the link as things like
the "ccp" option causes a kernel oops (in random processes). A google
search showed lots of other people with the same thing but nothing about
how to fix it apart from adding "-ccp" (to diable ccp) to the line starting
ipppd (which doesn't seem like much of a "fix" to me).

I recompiled my own 2.2.19 kernel with the isdn patches from traverse.
Also compiled my own isdnutils from traverse although I'm not sure
if this was necessary. I pinched a copy of your ijolt program too
Crossfire although I ended up not using it, just pinched some ideas and
incorporated them into a script I was already using to do much the
same thing for a modem link.

I can actually notice the difference too over a 56k modem, mainly in
download throughput and latency for ssh'ing, despite me thinking
going from 50/30k to 64/64k wouldn't be that much different.

Dave.
