OK.. I fixed it...

FYI.

All I had to do was run

tune2fs -j /dev/hdb6
tune2fs -j /dev/hda6

and it created a journaling FS.. on reboot it's mounting fine now..
hopefully this was correct.

Probably Ghost does not know how to handle ext3.
