Which distribution are you using? If Mandrake or Redhat try installing without testing the graphics card and not starting or rebooting straight into a GUI or runlevel 5. Then run Xconfigurator or XFdrake and start at the lowest setting and work your way up. eg. 640x480x8bit. yeah i know it's got 32mb. It just might behave itself if you config it after the install. Not sure what other disros use for configuring X. Ben
