Hi

I was stupid in running the command, I had used the dd command before to create
bootsector to start with NT/2000 dual boot.
I should have known better to read the man page before.
I agree that Osama's post was ridiculous, and it seemed to be a troll given the name
Osama.

I only tried the command because of "nc" which I was experimenting with in redirecting
text output to port 9100 on a printer, the day before as a means of printing network
printing.

I thought more about the whole scenario, and came up with this analogy.

I liken it to a driving on a road.
A major highway, where the locals know the roads very well.
Someone for a joke, blocks the road and puts a detour sign up (like on road runner),
and a (100) kph speed sign, but around the bend out of sight is a cliff or a rock wall.
Unsuspecting tourist new to the area, or even been down the main road a few times,
drives by takes the detour and crashes their car.
In cartoons it is funny when we see this happen.
But this is what we sometimes do, then we say, well they should have read their road
map, they should have rung the local authoriies to se whether the road was really
blocked, and never, ever take roads that you don't know where they go. You should
always have full comprehensive insurance with a no claim bonus

Great advice !!

I just thank God that I found a good Smash Repair place, and I can appreciate the
joke. I know that there was no foul intention, so no damage done.
