I'm voicing the complaints of many subscribers who are not interested in random discussion about Microsoft issues - please don't accuse me of 'throwing weight' or whatever. I've been harping on about keeping [EMAIL PROTECTED] "pure" and using slug-chat for random, crazy stuff for yonks now. :-) The thing is, we have over 500 subscribers to the list who are interested in *Linux* issues, help and technical discussion, not the politics of proprietary software. Linux advocacy is *not* Microsoft bashing, or talking about the latest ways that Microsoft are abusing their monopoly and/or customer base. We have more than enough work of our own to do - advocacy and development wise - without getting caught up in their problems. We can keep the snickering and ranting about proprietary software to slug-chat, because it's a fun sideline there, and doesn't get in the way of what the main SLUG list is here to achieve: promoting, helping with and talking about Linux and Free Software. - Jeff -- So, "Jeffrey" seems to mean "the ineffectual, victimised guy in American movies" in four different languages. -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
