As a user, not as a developer, I have been using Aven which is a cave
survey viewer (see http://www.survex.com). This uses wxWindows for the
GUI development and that means that the developers have versions for
Windows and Linux available. There are no feature differences between
the platforms. So as a user thats ace :-)
