Hi Everyone, We have a home/office user running Optus Cable. The problem is that we cannot get the Cable service to work under Linux....
In the past I had a home connection running Optus Cable and it was quite easliy achieved with 'dhcpcd' and in one case (don't know why) I was able to jump on the network unauthenticated for over a year by just using dhcp and no host/client id information supplied. Could someone please shed some light on a current "working" config and/or how-to on getting this working. Oh - looked at archives and how-to, very much the same info in both.
