OK, I know that some of you will already have responded. However since the date has changed etc, I'd like to get a fresh list.
We're looking for people to help organise the next Linux Workshop [1]. The current working date is August 3rd, location to be confirmed (though its very likely to a central Sydney Uni). There is no 'to-do' list or anything at the moment, though things will change rapidly and I will need a lot of help in organising things. We have a mailing list set up, which a number of you are already on, called 'festies'. Feel free to visit http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/festies and sign up if you're interested in keeping up to date with the planning. If you are able to commit to helping out in some way (there will be a lot of different tasks available, no experience required!), please drop me a line off list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). If you want to chat more about the workshop and share ideas, please join (and post to) the festies mailing list. Thanks TG [1] This will not be an installfest. We're not just going to be loading up linux. We'll have talks on a lot of the basics, demonstrations, fun and games for all the family * * There is no guarantee that you're familiy will have fun or enjoy the games ;-) -- Tony Green <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Tel : +61-(0)2-9500-9996 Mobile : +61-(0)4-2521-9996 GnuPG Key : 1024D/B5657C8B Key fingerprint = 9ED8 59CC C161 B857 462E 51E6 7DFB 465B B565 7C8B -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
