Hi, I've been offered a 2nd hand card ($100) which is supposed to be "32MB nVidia FeForce 256". Well, nVidia make chips but apparently not cards. The card looks generally like the LeadTek card shown at http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/00q1/000107/ except that (a) it hasn't got the 2nd video output (b) it hasn't got all the jumpers (c) the 4 fat chips sitting next to the CPU are 8 skinny chips on mine, with another 8 on the back (d) there's no white WinFast sticker on mine (e) there are other minor absences on mine
In particular, there's no LeadTek logo on my card (but nor is there in the picture). Does anyone know, please, what my card is? What kernel version(s) are drivers available for, please?
