I want to be able to test a php script which requires MySQL. Since my web hosting package doesn't include that capability, I want to test it from my Linux machine. My XP machine that I am using here is networked via a crossover cable to my Linux box running Red Hat 7.2. When I installed Red Hat I marked "web server" and "SQL" during the set up. Samba is running OK and I can see the Linux box from the Windows machine. What do I need to do next? Regards Don
