The price difference with an AMD athalon 1.6GHz and a P4 1.6GHz the athalon is dearer by $50. Is there a real reason for this? Should I spend the extra on AMD?
I was hoping to rescue the RAM and just upgrade the CPU and motherboard. My current video is PCI. What is DDR and what will it do for me? What Motherboard site should I check before buying?
