[SLUG] ask gcc option

Dear List :   Often I download a packed tar-file to make , or make my own program . I get lots of waning like :     no newline at the end of file or     im-compatable pointer type         Could someone know how to filter these warnings ? I tried several option of gcc like Werror ,but it's of no use       BestRegards' Henry
