Hi Mark, ping localhost to see whether ip is up. ping your card address on your machine eg. 192.168.1.1 so as not to go over the wire. ping the other card ip over the wire. usually cards autodetect which port is active. if you have two different connectors on the card can you setup 10Base2 to test as well as 10BaseT. (if this is them) have you got the setup software to turn on/off the connector you are using?
