Afternoon All I'm using GnuPlot to plot some integer data by date. The dates are on the x axis. I am trying to change the way the x axis legends appear.
At the moment GnuPlot selects dates arbitrarily and displays the date in a specified format eg "01/08/01" under the x axis. GnuPlot just selects dates so they do not write over the top of each other given that the position is determined by the scale of that axis. What would be really nice is if I could select which dates would show on the legend. What would be even nicer is if I could also rotate the text to the vertical. (This problem is easy to see in a picture but hard to explain using words.) I can change the fontsize for the whole graph in the set terminal postscript command. I can't see how or if I can change just the x axis. This could be hidden somewhere in the very long manual but if it is I can't find it. Any suggestions welcome.
