Is anyone aware of work that has been done involving interfacing premises monitoring systems to Linux so that the latter can be used to generate SMS/email/etc. alarms.
Any pointers would be welcome, as I have looked at the Serial HOWTOs etc. and they are a foreign language to me. -- Howard.
