Hi everyone,

I have a couple of problems:

1. I have a linux gateway setup for my home LAN which runs IP Masq and
firewall. This has been working sweetly, however about a week ago I was no
longer able to view the ads on seek?? I am able to load seek, do my search,
it will show me the titles of all the ads found, however when I try and go
in and view them the page comes up blank...apart from the seek toolbar at
the top of the page?? I have rung my ISP and had them test the pages from
my account, and they don't have any problems, and I have also had a friend
test and he had no problems. This leads me to believe that there is a
problem with my masq or possibly seek has a problem with my linux box?? Any
suggestions?

2. I am trying to setup a remote access dialing in with my linux box into a
windows 2000 professional machine. The linux box dials, and gets these logs...

Jul 1 22:57:13 superbox pppd[3405]: pppd 2.3.11 started by root, uid 0
Jul 1 22:57:14 superbox chat[3406]: abort on (BUSY)

Jul 1 22:57:14 superbox chat[3406]: expect (CONNECT)
Jul 1 22:57:14 superbox chat[3406]: ^M
Jul 1 22:57:49 superbox pppd[3405]: Terminating on signal 15.
Jul 1 22:57:49 superbox chat[3406]: SIGTERM
Jul 1 22:57:49 superbox pppd[3405]: Connect script failed
Jul 1 22:57:50 superbox pppd[3405]: Exit.

Please disregard the time stamp, I haven't had a chance to fix it yet...the
'connecting' noise from the windows box sounds quite odd, and its logs say
that there is 'NO CARRIER'. I know that this isn't entirely a linux problem
but Im not sure which side of the connection is failing...

Thanks guys,

Adam
