Hi all.

Bit of a problem install Debian Potato last night got thought
everything. But ran into a problem i cant seem to get my mouse to work
and therefore cant start up X which is a ever so slight problem. Im
unsure as to which protocol it comes under (i thought microsoft was
standard for serial mouse's)and the port settings.

Mouse setting copied from Windoze are

Standard Serial Mouse
Device name Mouse
Manufacturer (standard mouse types)
Hardware Version Not availble

thinking that was useless com port info was

com 1
9600bps 8 data, 1 stop, no Parity xon/xoff
interpret range 04 input/output 0388-03ff

com 2
9600bps 8 data, 1 stop, no Parity xon/xoff
interpret range 03 input/output 02f8-02ff

Hope someone can help, on the same topic is there any way of stoping
startx or xinit from calling to the mouse to start with (im not that
fussed to use it)
and jsut letting me run with keyboard control

Kim
