netstat is a good place to start but requires quite a bit of practice to be useful. There is a gui version in redhat (netmonitor?). A good way to search for what tools you might have is: man -k net (searches the manuals for programs with net in them) -=-=-==-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Graeme Robinson - Graenet consulting www.graenet.com - internet solutions -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==---=-=--=-=-= -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
