Evenin' all, On the weekend I was making an attempt to install Debian on an old IDE drive in a friends PC and in using fdisk I somehow seem to have snarfed the partition table. I'm not sure what I did (it was late and I should have been in bed) but now any attempt to use fdisk on the disk complains that the partition table is not readable. I believe the disk is physically okay but I don't know any way of unsnarling it.
Is My Disk Ruined? Are there any utilities out there (and I'm not bothered about using commercial stuff for THAT OS if I have to) that will rescue it? -- David -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
