Hi all,
I have a problem with my Apache server on my home network. I am running
RH7.2, Apache 1.3.26, Squid 2.4 Stable/6
Workstations are XP and W98 with IE6

Whenever I try to connect to the server, ie the server name is blondie so I
enter:
http://blondie in my browser (yes I can ping blondie from my workstation)

I get the error below.

I have tried all combinations of the URl and have re-built Apache. Logging
in to a terminal session and running 'lynx localhost' works fine. So
somewhere the 'http://blondie is being stripped and just / is being
presented to Squid. If you try adding the 'index.html' to the url then the
error is '/index.html'. It seems that IE is sending the full URL as it
appeasr briefly on the bottom of the browser.

Any clues would be appreciated as I need to have this running properly to
learn some php coding.
