I use Sophos MailMonitor at my client networks:

Why:
a) It plugs into your mail system as another SMTP server. This means
that unlike Amavis-type solutions, there's a very clear delineation of
responsibility between the vendor and the admistrator. If I can nc to a
port where the MailMonitor server listens and it doesn't respond, I can
call the vendor and blame them.

b) They have good support folk. You can call a number in Australia and
speak to someone who knows Unix nearly immediately.

c) Future releases will have a cute web based GUI to keep clients happy.

I'd like to present a live tutorial on this exact topic (using Postfix
and Sophos MailMonitor) for the next Slug meeting if its possible (there
seems to be a space available).

However the Slug committee haven't responded to my email.
