Dear list,

I installed woody on a box today. Installation went fine.

Installed GCC

Downloaded Kernel-2.4.18.tar.gz

Gunziped it into /usr/local/src/linux

ran make config, answered the questions

But when I try to run make dep I get the errors
gcc -2.95 /include limits.h:117 No such file or directory.

So, it looks like the gcc can not find the header files. There are a number
of other similar errors for stdio.h , stdlib.h etc.

Where can I get the header files from?

I am I doing something wrong?

Any advises / suggestions would be appreciated.

regards,
