Hello friends, I have noticed a steadily increasing number of spammers attempting to send spam to some of my spamtrap addresses but with faulty server software. What I refer to, is the distinct lack of the DATA command in the connection setup. As a result the entire email ends up in the connection logs for my server instead of just the envelope headers as should occur. Has anyone else seen similar behaviour lately or is it just me with this problem? I block the IPs from connecting to my server every time I see this (or other spam to my traps), but this tactic has gone from once about 6 months ago to a couple of times a week over the past couple of months to pretty much once or twice a day this month.
