I am at my wits end ...
I have recently bought a Radeon 7500VE dual head Video card and have a 19" LG
and 17" Apple Monitor to hook up. Both monitors work, with identical
displays under the standard XF86Config-4 file. They even work with editting
of the XF86Config-4 file, but occasionally the monitors set to 800X600,
rather than the scripted 1024x768. The major drama is in trying to get to
xinerama to work. Below, I have posted my XF86Config-4 file. If I run
"startx", I get the identical displays. If I run "startx -+xinerama" invalid
command line, so is startx +xinerama. another reported error is (EE) RADEON0
something something ... sorry, I forget. Anyway, I'm running Redhat 7.3 with
KDE as the default desktop, any help greatly appreciated
