Hi guys, thanks for all your replies. I receive the following messages when running lilo -v -l
Ignoring entry 'LBA32' Warning : using bios device code 0x81 for raid boot blocks Reading boot sector from /dev/md0 Warning : /dev/md0 is not on the first disk merging with /boot/boot.b Warning : linear may generate cylinder # above 1023 at boot Fatal : sector address 40122944 to large for linear ( try LBA 32 instead ) It perplexes me as to why it makes reference to /dev/md0 not being on the first disk, the partitions on hda and hdc are FD ( raid auto detect ) with there accompanying swap partitions. Not only that but i have already made the raid successfully with no returning error messages. As someone else mentioned do you have a small boot partition at the start of the disk?
